Professor Vic Kam-tuen Law Named Hong Kong’s Only Cornerstone Investigator of the Year
Our Executive Committee Member, Professor Vic Kam-tuen Law , Chair Professor of HKUST’s Department of Physics, has been named a "New Cornerstone Investigator" by the Tencent-funded New Cornerstone Science Foundation for the year, recognizing his outstanding research contributions. This prestigious honor celebrates leading scholars who have made significant impacts in their fields and Professor Law is the only awardee in Hong Kong region. The Cornerstone Investigator award aims to promote high-quality research and elevate Hong Kong’s standing in the global scientific community. This prestigious award will provide up to RMB 15 million over five years to support Professor Law’s research in quantum physics.
