Welcome to the website of The Hong Kong Research Grants Council Research Fellow Alliance (HKRFA).
Since the launch of several RGC research fellowship schemes, there are now several cohorts of RGC Senior Research Fellows, RGC Research Fellows, as well as RGC Postdoctoral Fellows and RGC Junior Research Fellows. We now have a community of over 400 well-respected scholars across diverse disciplines. With such a vibrant community, it is timely to establish a formal network to consolidate the strengths and amplify the impact of RGC research fellows. This is the purpose of founding The Hong Kong Research Grants Council Research Fellow Alliance (HKRFA) “香港研資局傑出研究學者協會”.
I am very privileged and honoured to be invited to serve as the Inaugural Chairperson of HKRFA. The Alliance aims to support scholarly exchanges, facilitate effective pooling of research expertise and promote the sharing of best practices. Our goal is to benefit RGC research fellows and nurture the new generation of research talent. We will also promote the visibility and identity of RGC research fellows.
I am confident that we will build stronger bonds among the research community. I believe HKRFA will serve as a new, dynamic platform to foster research collaboration and innovation, working synergistically with RGC to promote research excellence and impactful outcomes. Let's join hands in supporting the development of Hong Kong as an international hub for research and innovation!
