Biography
Dr. Siyuan Wu is a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She received her PhD from The University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on geotechnical engineering, intelligent drilling, in situ characterization, and lunar regolith exploration. She develops experimental and data driven approaches to extract geological and geomechanical information from drilling responses and support ground characterization in real time. As a 2026/27 RGC Junior Research Fellow, she is investigating intelligent characterization of lunar South Pole regolith for future lunar exploration and engineering.
