Biography

Dr. Yang received his Ph.D. in Condensed Matter Physics from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2023. He subsequently joined Oak Ridge National Laboratory in the United States as a postdoctoral researcher and, since June 2025, has continued his postdoctoral research at City University of Hong Kong. His research centers on correlated and topological quantum materials, with a particular focus on revealing their emergent electronic structures and collective excitations through advanced photon- and electron-spectroscopic techniques.
