Biography

Xinjiang Chen is an interdisciplinary energy-systems researcher combining optimisation, machine learning, and policy analysis. Holding a PhD from Peking University, he is currently a Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow and RGC Junior Research Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His research spans renewable energy integration, power system planning, and carbon removal technologies. He has authored multiple publications, holds several patents, and possesses extensive experience in translating research outcomes into industrial applications. Dr. Chen excels at developing scalable operational and policy-relevant solutions for energy transitions.
