Biography

Yian Wang is currently an assistant professor at Great Bay University, who previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow at HKUST under the RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme (PDFS). She obtained her Ph.D. degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from HKUST. Her research focuses on the application of first-principles calculations in the study of electrochemical systems, including the redox and coupling reactions of carbon- and nitrogen-containing molecules, and the redox reactions in fuel cell and water electrolysis. She has published over 30 papers in top-tier journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc. and Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.
