Biography

Professor Wulin Yang is an Assistant Professor and Associate Chair of the Department of Environmental Engineering at Peking University. A recipient of the National High-Level Young Talents Program, his research focuses on low-carbon electrochemistry, energy and environmental technologies, and wastewater resource recovery. He has led more than 10 major projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), authored over 80 papers in leading journals including Nature Communications and Environmental Science & Technology, and holds more than 10 patents. His honors include the Second Prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award from the All-China Environment Federation, where he was the first completer, and recognition as a Tianfu Carbon Neutrality Technology Innovation Typical Case.
