Biography
Professor XU Chenjie focuses on the development of microneedle-based biomedical devices for transdermal drug and cell delivery, with applications in disease diagnosis and treatment. His innovative work explores the use of anisotropic porous microstructures, conductive microneedles, and cryomicroneedles to enhance the efficacy and precision of therapeutic delivery. Prof. Xu has received several prestigious awards, including the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2024) and recognition as one of Stanford's top 2% most highly cited scientists for multiple years (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2011).
