Biography

Professor Bai joins Hong Kong Baptist University as an Assistant Professor of Computer Science in 2026. Previously, he was an RGC Junior Research Fellow and Postdoctoral Researcher at HKUST. He earned his PhD in Computer Science from HKUST under the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme, advised by Professor Yangqiu Song, alongside dual BEng and BBA degrees. His research on knowledge-centric AI is published in top venues like ACL, ICLR, WWW, KDD, NeurIPS, and TMLR. He serves as an Area Chair for ACL Rolling Review and reviews for premier venues including KDD, ACL, EMNLP, and TPAMI.
