Biography

Dr. Zijian LI is the RGC Junior Research Fellow at City University of Hong Kong. He received his B.E. (2019) degree from Ocean University of China and completed his Ph.D. (2024) in City University of Hong Kong. His research interests include materials chemistry, electrochemistry, sensing, SERS, electrocatalyis, energy conversion and storage, and materials synthesis (e.g., noble-metal materials, 2D materials, heterostructures). He has published over 30 papers as first/co-first/corresponding authors. The citation reached 4311 times with h-index of 38 based on Google Scholar (2026.05.04). He is a current member of Young Editorial Board of EcoEnergy, Green Carbon and National Materials (2026).
