Biography

Dr. Hossain is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, specializing in grassland biodiversity, and ecosystem stability under climate change. He earned his PhD in Geography from Hong Kong Baptist University and holds an MSc in Global Change Ecology from the University of Bayreuth, Germany. His research has produced over 40 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals, including Ecological Informatics, Environmental Research Letters, Global Ecology and Conservation, Journal of Cleaner Production, and npj Natural Hazards. Dr. Hossain has received numerous awards, including the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship, and Madam Kwok Chung Bo Fun PhD Student Research Excellence Award.
