Biography

Professor Lauren Yu-Hsin Lin is a Professor of Law at City University of Hong Kong and a Research Member of the European Corporate Governance Institute. She writes widely on corporate law, securities regulation, and corporate finance. Her work has appeared in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Legal Studies and Journal of Empirical Legal Studies, and has been featured in major media outlets, such as The Wall Street Journal, The Economist, and Bloomberg. Professor Lin serves as the President of the Asian Law and Economics Association (2025-2026) and the Associate Editor of the International Review of Law and Economics.
