Biography

Wilson Lu is Chair Professor (Digital Construction) and Head of the Department of Real Estate and Construction, Faculty of Architecture, The University of Hong Kong (HKU). He holds a BSc of Computer Science and an MSc of Construction Economics and Management. He was awarded his PhD in Hong Kong. He has worked as a research fellow at the University of Reading, UK, from 2006 to 2008. His research interests focus on Construction Management with two directions: (1) Construction informatics: Building Information Modelling (BIM), smart construction, and big data, and blockchain; and (2) Construction waste management: Management, economics, and public policies.
