Biography

Professor Postiglione has published 22 books, and 200 articles and chapters. His newest book is Higher Education in China: Domestic Demands and Global Aspirations. (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2026). He was Editor of Chinese Education and Society for over 20 years. He edits four book series and was on 20 editorial boards. His awards include: Outstanding Research Supervisor Award; Humanities and Social Science Prestigious Fellowship; Fellow of the American Educational Research Association, and Lifetime Contribution Award for Studies in Higher Education. He earned two Best Book Awards and co-received the China National Education Outstanding Achievement Award in Empirical Research.
