Biography

Professor Siu is the Chair Professor of Public Design, Eric C. Yim Professor in Inclusive Design at the School of Design (PolyU), Leader of Public Design Lab, and Director of PolyU-HIT of the Joint-Research Center for Inclusive Environment. He is a fellow of numerous engineering and design organisations. He has been the visiting professor/scholar of University of Cambridge, MIT (Fulbright Scholar), NUS (ASIA Fellow), UC Berkeley, Tsinghua University, CAFA. His research interests include public design and inclusive design. Professor Siu holds 50+ US and international patents, and 80+ international invention and design awards. He has published 500+ papers in top-tier academic journals.
