Biography

Dr. Jet Uy Buenconsejo is a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Social Sciences of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to this, he was an RGC postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Special Education and Counselling of The Education University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on Positive Youth Development, positive education, social emotional learning, and the use of emerging technologies to promote student thriving in diverse sociocultural contexts in East and Southeast Asia. In terms of practice, Dr. Jet is a registered psychometrician and psychologist in the Philippines, handling youth and adult clients with psychosocial concerns.
