Biography

Dr. Chunyi Zhi is a Chair Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong. He earned his Ph.D. from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Zhi has published over 600 papers with an h-index of 159 and more than 90,000 citations. He also holds over 100 patents. Additionally, he is recognized as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher (2019-2025), a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and a RGC Senior Research Fellow.
