Biography

Dr. Yi Chai’s research leverages large-scale real-world data to enhance the identification, prevention, and intervention strategies for patients with mental health problems. Utilizing advanced statistical methods, Dr Chai’s research focuses on: (1) the epidemiology, modifiable factors, and clinical outcomes of mental health issues; (2) the safety and efficacy of psychotropic medications; and (3) the multimorbidity patterns among patients with mental health conditions.
