Biography

Prof. Tom Cheung is a leading expert in adult stem cell biology, skeletal muscle repair, and aging. He holds the S H Ho Professor of Life Science position and serves as the Associate Head (Research and Development) of the Division of Life Science at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Recognized for his innovative research, he received the Croucher Innovation Award in 2015, the Healthy Longevity Catalyst Award in Hong Kong in 2023, and the RGC Research Fellowship Award in 2024. His work has been published in prestigious journals such as Nature, Cell Stem Cell, and Molecular Cell.
