Biography

Dr Eliz M. Y. Wong is a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, supported by the RGC Junior Research Fellow Scheme. She holds a PhD in Social Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE), where she was awarded a full scholarship. She also earned an MPhil in Gender Studies from the University of Cambridge with a full scholarship, as well as an MPhil and Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sociology from CUHK. Her research examines family and marriage, gender and sexualities, mental health, and the social impacts of generative AI. She has published in leading journals, including Journal of Marriage and Family, Journal of Mixed Methods Research, Social Science & Medicine, and Computers in Human Behavior.
