Biography

Professor Wang is currently the TUYF Endowed Chair Professor in Oceanography, and the Director of the Research Centre for Oceans and Human Health at the City University of Hong Kong. He studied Marine Biology at Xiamen University, China, and earned a Ph.D. in Coastal Oceanography from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, the United States. Professor Wang’s research focuses on trace metal ecotoxicology and biogeochemistry, with recent interests in nanotoxicology and marine resource management. His work aims to integrate fundamental and applied ecotoxicology to support the sustainable and protection of marine environments.
