Biography

Prof. Xiao LI is an Assistant Professor at The University of Hong Kong (HKU). His research primarily contributes to smart, industrialized construction, including assembly and production systems. He has led research projects with funding exceeding HK$20 million. Recognized as a Top 1% Scholar by Clarivate Analytics and World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University, he is also a member of CIB, ASCE, IEEE, and HKIE. Additionally, he holds the status of a FHEA and a SYLFF fellow, and is a National Registered Construction Engineer (Class 1). He has received several awards, including the 49th Geneva Inventions Gold Medal, the CIC Innovation Award, and the Best Paper Award from prestigious conferences and journals.
