Biography

After completing his PhD, Dr Jerry Yeung began his academic career at The University of Hong Kong as a Postdoctoral Fellow, working on a Collaborative Research Fund project focused on early childhood development and education. He is currently a RGC Junior Research Fellow at The Education University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on children's creativity, arts education, teacher professional development, pedagogies, and curriculum, specifically within preschool settings. Trained as a preschool teacher in Hong Kong, Jerry's research is informed by the notion of "Glocalization" (hybridization of global and local perspectives in education) and his working experience in preschools.
