Biography
Jonathan Choi completed his BS/MS studies in chemical engineering at Stanford University and his PhD in chemical engineering at Caltech. Later, he served as a Croucher Foundation postdoctoral fellow at Northwestern for two years. He established the first laboratory on in vivo nanoparticle-based drug delivery and bio–nano interactions in Hong Kong in 2013 and co-founded the first Biomedical Engineering (BME) department in Hong Kong at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2017. His team investigates how nanoparticles interact with the body across different length scales and develops strategies for delivering nanotherapeutics to various challenging diseased sites.
