Biography
Shiyuan Liu is a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, specializing in thermo‑catalytic hydrogen storage materials. She earned her Ph.D. in Materials Science from Beihang University, where she conducted influential research on hydrogen storage mechanisms and electrocatalysis. Dr. Liu has published extensively in leading journals, including Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, and Advanced Science, and is proficient in both experimental characterization and computational simulation. Her work has advanced hydrogen storage, fuel cells, and catalytic materials. She is a recipient of the Hong Kong RGC Junior Research Fellow Award (2025–26).
